Find answers to common inquiries about our healthcare services

What insurance plans do you accept?
We accept most major insurance providers including Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna, Humana, and many more. We also offer self-pay options and flexible payment plans for uninsured patients. Please contact our office to verify your specific coverage before your visit.
How do I prepare for my first appointment?
For your initial visit, please bring a valid photo ID, insurance card, list of current medications with dosages, any relevant medical records from previous providers, and a list of questions or concerns you'd like to discuss. Arrive 15 minutes early to complete registration paperwork. Fasting may be required if lab work is planned.
Do you offer telehealth/virtual appointments?
Yes! We offer comprehensive telehealth services for many types of consultations including follow-up visits, prescription refills, minor illness assessments, mental health sessions, and chronic condition management. Virtual visits are conducted through our secure HIPAA-compliant video platform and are covered by most insurance plans.
What should I expect during a preventive health checkup?
A comprehensive preventive checkup typically includes vital signs measurement (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, weight), physical examination, blood work panel, urinalysis, age and gender-appropriate screenings, lifestyle assessment, immunization review, and personalized health recommendations. The entire process usually takes 45-60 minutes.
Is mental health counseling confidential?
Absolutely. All mental health services at Healthy Living Cure are strictly confidential under federal and state privacy laws (HIPAA). Information shared in therapy sessions cannot be disclosed to anyone—including family members—without your explicit written consent, except in limited safety-related circumstances which your therapist will explain during your first session.
Can I bring my children to appointments?
Yes, we welcome patients of all ages! We have pediatric specialists on staff experienced in caring for infants, children, and teenagers. For your convenience, we also provide a comfortable waiting area. If possible, arrange childcare for lengthy appointments so you can focus fully on your consultation without distractions.
What are your office hours and how quickly can I get an appointment?
Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Sunday for urgent care only from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Same-day appointments are often available for urgent concerns—we recommend calling early in the day. Routine appointments can typically be scheduled within 3-5 business days.
How do I access my medical records and test results?
Patients can securely access their medical records, test results, appointment history, prescription information, and communicate with providers through our patient portal available 24/7. You'll receive login credentials at your first visit. Most lab results are posted within 24-48 hours, and you'll receive notifications when results are ready for viewing.
